The Innovative Cities of the Next Generation or ICiNG project is a revolutionary European initiative dedicated to improving the quality of life of its citizens. ICiNG’s mission is quite similar to that of the NewCities Institute, to connect people to their community in a more efficient and comprehensive way by means of new technology and civic involvement. Dublin, Barcelona, and Helsinki have become the “laboratories” of the ICiNG project in order to test their “Thin-Skinned” design to local government.
